Journal ArticleDOI

p53 gene mutational spectra in hepatocellular carcinomas induced by 2-acetylaminofluorene and N-nitroso-2-acetylaminofluorene in rats.

TL;DR: In this study, the mutation frequencies of the p53 gene in rat hepatocellular carcinomas induced by N‐nitroso‐2‐acetylaminofluorene and AAF were observed and the frequency and base location of p53 mutations were significantly associated with cancer cell differentiation.
Journal ArticleDOI

A New Histone Deacetylase Inhibitor Enhances Radiation Sensitivity through the Induction of Misfolded Protein Aggregation and Autophagy in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer.

TL;DR: Tumor growth in the mouse of model orthotopic breast cancer was suppressed by the combination treatment through the induction of ER stress and autophagy, which support the future evaluation of the novel HDACi TMU-35435, as a potent radiosensitizer in TNBC.
Journal ArticleDOI

Skin tumor-promoting potential and systemic effects of pentachlorophenol and its major metabolite tetrachlorohydroquinone in CD-1 mice

TL;DR: Evaluating whether the tumor‐promoting activity of pentachlorophenol is mainly from its major metabolite tetrachlorohydroquinone (TCHQ) showed that PCP and TCHQ are much weaker promoters than 12‐O‐tetradecanoylphorbol‐13‐acetate (TPA) in mouse skin during a 25‐wk experiment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Staurosporine modulates radiosensitivity and radiation-induced apoptosis in U937 cells.

TL;DR: Abrogation of the G2 checkpoint should be an effective strategy against p53-deficient leukemia cells to irradiation-induced cell killing.
