Cluster Cosmology Constraints from the 2500 deg2 SPT-SZ Survey: Inclusion of Weak Gravitational Lensing Data from Magellan and the Hubble Space Telescope

Sebastian Bocquet, +94 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors derived cosmological constraints using a galaxy cluster sample selected from the 2500 deg2 SPT-SZ survey, which spans the redshift range 0.25 < z 5.7 and find no evidence for tension with the prediction from general relativity.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Comparison of Cosmological Parameters Determined from CMB Temperature Power Spectra from the South Pole Telescope and the Planck Satellite

K. Aylor, +61 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a method to solve the problem of high-energy particle filtering in the context of high energy physics, which is similar to the one we consider in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

A 2500 deg2 CMB Lensing Map from Combined South Pole Telescope and Planck Data

Y. Omori, +66 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented the results of a research project at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they used the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation (GBMF) through Grant GBMF 947 to support the development of a particle accelerator.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurements of E-Mode Polarization and Temperature-E-Mode Correlation in the Cosmic Microwave Background from 100 Square Degrees of SPTpol Data

A. T. Crites, +80 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present measurements of E-mode polarization and temperature-E-mode correlation in the cosmic microwave background using data from the first season of observations with SPTpol, the polarization-sensitive receiver currently installed on the South Pole Telescope (SPT).
Journal ArticleDOI

Maps of the Southern Millimeter-wave Sky from Combined 2500 deg$^2$ SPT-SZ and Planck Temperature Data

R. Chown, +62 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a linear combination of the SPT-SZ and Planck data is computed in spherical harmonic space, with weights derived from the noise of both instruments, resulting in the Planck satellite data providing most of the large-angular-scale information in the combined maps, with the smaller scale information coming from SPT SZ data.
