Journal ArticleDOI

Engineering two-dimensional silicene composite nanosheets for dual-sensitized and photonic hyperthermia-augmented cancer radiotherapy.

TL;DR: This work reports on the construction of silicene-based silicenes@Pt composite nanosheets for computed tomography (CT)/photoacoustic (PA) imaging-guided dual-sensitized radiotherapy combined with photonic tumor hyperthermia, which has been achieved by a seed-growth approach to in situ grow Pt components ontosilicene nanosheeets' surface.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mechanically active adhesive and immune regulative dressings for wound closure

TL;DR: A mechanically active adhesive and immune regulative dressing is developed, mainly consisting of temperature-sensitive hydrogel with semi-interpenetrating network structure that could strongly adhere to and actively contract the wound in a ready-to-use form.
Journal ArticleDOI

Specific detection and simultaneously localized photothermal treatment of cancer cells using layer-by-layer assembled multifunctional nanoparticles.

TL;DR: A facile approach of layer-by-layer-assembled MFNPs conjugated with monoclonal antibody anti-HER2 demonstrates the specific detection of breast cancer BT474 cells (biomarker HER2 positive) with a high signal-to-noise ratio.
Journal ArticleDOI

Human amniotic fluid stem cells labeled with up-conversion nanoparticles for imaging-monitored repairing of acute lung injury.

TL;DR: HAFS cells displayed remarkable positive effects on ALI-damaged lung tissue repair compared with mouse bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, which include recovery of the integrity of alveolar-capillary membrane, attenuation of transepithelial leukocyte and neutrophil migration, and down-regulation of proinflammatory cytokine and chemokine expression.
Journal ArticleDOI

Carrier-free, water dispersible and highly luminescent dye nanoparticles for targeted cell imaging

TL;DR: The results show that water dispersible and highly stable organic NPs would be a promising new class of fluorescent probe for bioapplications in cellular imaging and labeling.
