In vivo biodistribution, pharmacokinetics, and toxicology of carbon nanotubes.
Kai Yang,Zhuang Liu +1 more
TL;DR: Much more efforts are still required to develop functional CNT bioconjugates with improved biocompatible coatings and controllable optimal sizes to achieve fast excretion and minimal toxicity, for various applications in biomedicine.
Journal ArticleDOI
Facile Fabrication of Bubble-Propelled Micromotors Carrying Nanocatalysts for Water Remediation
Zhi-Lu Li,Wei Wang,Ming Li,Mao-Jie Zhang,Meng-Jiao Tang,Yao-Yao Su,Zhuang Liu,Xiao-Jie Ju,Rui Xie,Liang-Yin Chu +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a facile and flexible approach is developed to fabricate bubble-propelled mesoporous micromotors carrying nanocatalysts for efficient water remediation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Non-blinking, highly luminescent, pH- and heavy-metal-ion-stable organic nanodots for bio-imaging
Feifei An,Jun Ye,Jinfeng Zhang,Yinlong Yang,Cai-Jun Zheng,Xiujuan Zhang,Zhuang Liu,Chun-Sing Lee,Xiaohong Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: Spiro-BTA Sdots demonstrate obviously much higher brightness with very high signal-to-background ratio in Hela cell, compared with common CdSe/ZnS QDs, and exhibit large Stokes shifts, broad absorption spectra, and low toxicity to living cells which enable their applications as good fluorescence probes for bio-imaging.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reactive Oxygen Species Scavenging Sutures for Enhanced Wound Sealing and Repair
TL;DR: The ROS scavenging sutures developed in this work significantly improve wound healing with enhanced wound closure, less inflammation reaction, and reduced formation of scars, which may serve as the promising suture for wound healing in various conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bifunctional nanoparticles with magnetism and NIR fluorescence: controlled synthesis from combination of AGET ATRP and ?click? reaction
TL;DR: Bifunctional nanoparticles capable of emitting near infrared (NIR) fluorescence and generating superparamagnetism under an external magnetic field were prepared by combination of 'click' reaction and surface-initiated activators generated by electron transfer for atom transfer radical polymerization, indicating them to be a competitive candidate for imaging contrast agents.
