Journal ArticleDOI

Remotely controlled red blood cell carriers for cancer targeting and near-infrared light-triggered drug release in combined photothermal chemotherapy

TL;DR: In this paper, an albumin bound near-infrared (NIR) dye, together with a chemotherapy drug doxorubicin, are encapsulated inside RBCs, the surfaces of which are modified with a targeting peptide to allow cancer targeting.
Journal ArticleDOI

Functionalized graphene oxide triggers cell cycle checkpoint control through both the ATM and the ATR signaling pathways

TL;DR: It was found that the obtained GO-PEG-PEI nanosheets, not the cytotoxic coating polymer PEI, could induce defect in S phase of the mammalian cell cycle, resulting in decreased DNA synthesis, S phase arrest, and abnormal cytoskeleton structure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Molecular domino reactor built by automated modular synthesis for cancer treatment.

TL;DR: This study provides a general strategy for building an aptamer-based molecular domino reactor through automated modular synthesis and demonstrates a novel method of achieving enhanced PDT, as well as alleviating TME hypoxia at the molecular level.

Controllable-interlamellar-spacing stable graphene oxide film and preparation method thereof

TL;DR: In this article, a controllable-interlamellar-spacing stable graphene oxide film which is prepared by accumulating partially reduced graphene oxide lamellae layer by layer was presented.
