TL;DR: In this article, an integrated forward logistics multi-echelon distribution inventory supply chain model (FLM) is proposed to design an integrated Forward Logistics Multi-Echelon Distribution Inventory Supply Chain Model (FLMM).
Abstract: There are many reasons for the growing interest in reverse logistics. The most prominent reasons are the growing concern for the environment and cost reduction. Next to environment, consumers demand for clean manufacturing and recycling. Hence, customers and retailers expect original equipment manufacturers to set up a proper reverse logistics system and expect the returned products to be processed and recovered in an environmentally responsible way and another reason is cost reduction. A well-managed reverse logistics programme can provide important cost savings in procurement, disposal, inventory carrying and transportation. In this context, looking at the entire supply chain is the best starting point for solutions. Supply chain management aims at the integration of traditional ‘forward’ supply chain processes, avoiding local optimisation by emphasising integrality. The main objective of this paper is to design an integrated forward logistics multi-echelon distribution inventory supply chain model (FLM...

TL;DR: The possibilities of confronting the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic by implementing the IoMT approach while offering treatment to orthopaedic patients with a superior level of care and more satisfaction are explored.
Abstract: Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is an innovative mean of amalgamating medical devices and their applications to connect with the healthcare information technology systems by using networking technologies. We have explored the possibilities of confronting the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic by implementing the IoMT approach while offering treatment to orthopaedic patients. The data sharing, report monitoring, patients tracking, information gathering and analysis, hygiene medical care, etc. are the various cloud and connected network-based services of IoMT. It can completely change the working layout of the healthcare facilities while treating orthopaedic patients with a superior level of care and more satisfaction, especially during this pandemic COVID-19 lockdown. Remote-location healthcare has also become feasible with the proposed IoMT approach.

TL;DR: In this paper, a newly fabricated Al6061 reinforced with various quantity of nano SiC in steps of 0.4 and fixed quantity of micro graphite particle's hybrid nanocomposites were prepared by ultrasonic assisted stir casting method.
Abstract: In the present investigation, a newly fabricated Al6061 reinforced with various quantity (0.4–1.6 wt%) of nano SiC in steps of 0.4 and fixed quantity (0.5 wt%) of micro graphite particle’s hybrid nanocomposites were prepared by ultrasonic assisted stir casting method. The influence of nano SiC and graphite content on the mechanical and tribological properties of Al6061 hybrid nanocomposites were studied. The pin-on-disc equipment was used to carry out experiment at 10–40 N applied load, 0.5 m/s sliding speed and 1000 m sliding distance. The Al/SiC/Gr hybrid nano-composite and matrix alloy wear surfaces were characterized by FESEM equipped with an EDS, 3D profilometer to understand the wear mechanisms. The results of Al/SiC/Gr self-lubricating hybrid nano-composites showed improved wear resistance than the Al6061 matrix alloy. The co-efficient of friction of Al/SiC/Gr hybrid nano-composites were lower than those of the unreinforced alloy at various applied load. Compared to matrix alloy, the surface roughness of Al/SiC/Gr hybrid nano-composites had significantly reduced to 66% at low load and 75% at high load. Self-lubricating Al/SiC/Gr hybrid nanocomposites showed superior surface smoothness compared to matrix alloy.
