TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a phenomenological lens to understand the lived experiences of 27 Omani women working in the tourism industry in the Sultanate of Oman, and a thematic analysis was done in order to surface the themes that could echo the participants' lived experiences.
Abstract: The literature on Omani women’s lived experiences in the tourism industry is scanty. Of special attention is the pivotal question which framed our research: How are these women, who are Muslims, interacting with male colleagues and customers in their everyday affairs at work? Using a phenomenological lens, this research aimed at understanding the lived experiences of 27 Omani women working in the tourism industry in the Sultanate of Oman. A thematic analysis was done in order to surface the themes that could echo the participants’ lived experiences.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the wear of dry sliding and friction of composites and found that nanogranite composite materials are better than higher concentrations of glass fibre in PLA matrices composites, which are more resistant to wear and friction coefficients.
Abstract: Natural materials are the alternative source for the manufacture of products due to environmental requirements. Hot injection moulding techniques make the composite product with fibreglass, granite waste filler, and polylactic acid (PLA). Five samples of each set and sampled with better hardness varied the volumetric percentage of glass fibre and the waste nanogranite particles. This effort is mainly concerned with evaluating the wear of dry sliding and friction of composites. Varying 15, 25, 35, and 45 N load, 750 and 1500 m sliding distance tested the composite materials, respectively. Parametric condition experiments were carried out at the stated process to record answers. Nanogranite composite materials are better than higher concentrations of glass fibre in PLA matrices composites, which are more resistant to wear and friction coefficients. The nanogranite powder is added with the filler element in the PLA matrix to provide a better coefficient of wear and rubbing. A high load of 45 N and a sliding distance of 1500 m were measured at low wear and low friction coefficients.

TL;DR: In this article, the cumulative sum control chart for monitoring the shift in the parameter of the Rayleigh distribution is developed and the control chart parameters such as the lead distance and angle of the V-mask are derived and studied.
Abstract: The cumulative sum control chart for monitoring the shift in the parameter of the Rayleigh distribution is developed in this study. The control chart parameters such as the lead distance and angle of the V-mask are derived and studied. The average run length for examining the performance of the control chart is also derived. The findings of the study revealed that the control chart is less likely to signal false alarms when the process is in control.

TL;DR: In this paper, data mining, machine learning and data science methods were applied to the data detected on Twitter and the highest success rate was obtained with the naive Bayes (kernel) algorithm with 52.09%.
Abstract: Various continuous utility management activities have been pursued by the Ethiopian Electric Power Company (EEPCo), the state-owned monopoly that produces, transmits, distributes and sells electric power nationally. However, based on an organizational review of the vertically integrated state-owned Ethiopian electricity company undertaken by IPA Energy and Water Economics, a major organizational reform could bring acceleration in business operations and achievement of corporate goals. In general, the main outcome of this research will be examining the role of an effective inventory management system on customers’ satisfaction. Inventory management is an important factor in successful customers’ satisfaction. The researcher uses a case-study style with some practical modifications to match the contextual requirements. In this research, data mining, machine learning and data science methods were applied to the data detected on Twitter. Also in this study, text mining methods were applied to the data collected on Twitter. In total, 142,000 tweets were collected. It was observed that the homogeneity of the data set increased the success rate. Besides, different machine learning algorithms were tried within the scope of the study and results with high success rates were tried to be obtained. The highest success rate was obtained with the naive Bayes (kernel) algorithm with 52.09%. As a result of applied machine learning algorithms, it has been observed that the effective stock management system is associated with customer satisfaction from sentence structures and words used, concerning the thesis in question.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate few materials challenges that affect the transition part, foundations and turbine blades of an offshore wind farm, and demonstrate that these are hard to build, and operation of offshore wind farms have their specific set of challenges.
Abstract: Today the world is facing COVID-19 pandemic, it conveys the necessity to decarbonise the global energy supply & prominence of trees for getting oxygen. Offshore wind power bids a credible substitute in such a scenario. Our country has a coastal area of about 7600 km encircled with water and has good forecasts of employing offshore wind energy. Offshore wind farms have so many advantages like providing non-conventional energy, not requiring fossil fuel, longer operational lifetimes, lower investment per MW, they don’t produce noise, and they do not pollute environment by releasing greenhouse gases. In spite of these advantages, there are still a numerous difficulty associated with the use of offshore wind. These are hard to build, and operation of offshore wind farms have their specific set of challenges including erosion, lightning strikes, corrosion, effect on marine animals, biodegradation. As the offshore wind energy is growing it is important to Express about the difficulties and upholding the functioning availability of offshore wind turbines. This paper demonstrates few materials challenges that affect the transition part, foundations and turbine blades of offshore wind farm.
