TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that a significant amount of water is transferred across cation exchange membranes from the −ve vanadium half cell electrolyte to the +ve Vanadium half-cell electrolyte by the hydration shells of V 2+ and V 3+ ions which can easily permeate through anion exchange membranes due to their relatively high charge numbers.

••
TL;DR: In this article, the potential of Platanus orientalis leaves powder (POLP) to remove methylene blue (MB), a cationic dye, from aqueous solution was evaluated.

••
TL;DR: In this paper, an analytical study is reported to demonstrate the effects of load curtailments on voltages profile in distribution network and a new method for real-time voltage control, based on emergency demand response program, is also proposed.

••
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of roller compacted concrete (RCC) characteristics on their fracture behavior in both pure mode I and II are experimentally investigated, and the fracture toughness results revealed concrete mix specifications had a noticeable impact on the cracking initiation of RCC and the effect of substituting of waste materials with natural aggregates was found to be negative, although their behavior was still comparable to those obtained for control mixes.

••
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of specimen size on mixed mode fracture resistance of a sedimentary soft rock (Guiting limestone) has been investigated, and a modified form of the maximum tangential stress (MMTS) criterion was employed.
