07 Jan 2003TL;DR: In this paper, a P picture is coded in inter mode according to scene change and the motion vectors of direct mode are calculated and coded according to the kind of the reference picture pointed by a motion vector of a co-located block in the specified picture.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a moving picture coding method to enhance a coding efficiency for a moving picture coding sequence by inter mode and direct mode in a B picture using a long-term reference picture. In the present invention, a P picture is coded in inter mode according to scene change. The motion vectors of direct mode are calculated and coded according to the kind of the reference picture pointed by a motion vector of a co-located block in the specified picture.

17 May 2010TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a method for transmitting a sounding reference signal from a terminal to a base station in a radio communication system, which comprises the steps of: receiving a transmission instruction signal for transmitting the non-periodic sounding reference signals from a station, determining a time resource for transmitting said signal, and transmitting the signal to the base station using the determined time resource.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for transmitting a sounding reference signal from a terminal to a base station in a radio communication system. More specifically, the method comprises the steps of: receiving a transmission instruction signal for transmitting a non-periodic sounding reference signal from a base station; determining a time resource for transmitting said non-periodic sounding reference signal based on a specific subframe for transmitting the preset periodic sounding reference signal; and transmitting said non-periodic sounding reference signal to the base station using said determined time resource.

30 Jun 2004TL;DR: In this article, a control method and a control system for a home network system in a multi-user environment are disclosed, which includes a plurality of slave devices, a user ID receiver receiving user ID data from a user, and a master device coupled to the slave devices for operation control.
Abstract: A control method and a control system for a home network system in a multi-user environment are disclosed The control system includes a plurality of slave devices, a user ID receiver receiving user ID data from a user, and a master device coupled to the slave devices for operation control The master device includes a memory and a controller coupled to the memory and the user ID receiver The memory initially prestores user-specific control settings preset by a plurality of preregistered users and user ID data of the preregistered users Then, the controller authenticates the user upon receiving the user ID data from the user ID receiver, and it automatically controls operational functions of the slave devices according to the user-specific control settings of the authenticated user, which is extracted from the memory

29 Mar 2010TL;DR: In this article, a mobile terminal and a method of controlling the operation of the mobile terminal is presented, which includes operating a camera provided in a main body of a mobile device in a first camera mode, and displaying a screen corresponding to an operation selected during the first camera on a display module; and if a 360-degree rotation of the main body about a predetermined axial direction is detected, operating the camera in a second camera mode and displaying an operation during the second camera on the display module.
Abstract: A mobile terminal and a method of controlling the operation of the mobile terminal are provided. The method includes operating a camera provided in a main body of the mobile terminal in a first camera mode, and displaying a screen corresponding to an operation selected during the first camera mode on a display module; and if a 360-degree rotation of the main body about a predetermined axial direction is detected, operating the camera in a second camera mode and displaying a screen corresponding to an operation selected during the second camera mode on the display module. Therefore, it is possible to easily switch the mobile terminal from one camera mode to another camera mode in accordance with the movement of the main body of the mobile terminal.
