TL;DR: In 2013, India ranked 5th in terms of coal reserves, 21st in crude oil reserves, and 23rd in natural gas in the world according to the International Energy Agency (IEA) as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: India is a developing country with a growing population and economy. For sustainable growth, it will need to secure its supply of energy minerals. In 2013, India ranked 5th in terms of coal reserves, 21st in crude oil reserves, and 23rd in natural gas. At the same time, India was the 3rd largest producer of bituminous and lignite, 22nd largest producer of crude oil, and the 25th largest producer of natural gas. In addition, India was also the 4th largest energy consumer in the world. The total primary usage in India is dominated by coal followed by oil and natural gas. In the period from 2000–2013, the total annual energy consumption doubled to 595.0 million tons oil equivalent. Coal increased its share from 49 to 54% and oil decreased its share from 36 to 30% of the total. The share of the natural gas remains at the same value of 8%.

TL;DR: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-aided non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) network along with uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) transmissions is investigated and analytical expressions of outage probability as main metric are derived.
Abstract: In this article, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-aided non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) network along with uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) transmissions is investigated. A group of sources intend to communicate with a group of destinations over Nakagami-m fading channels. Decode-and-Forward (DF) protocol is adopted at the relay (UAV plays the role of relay) while successive interference cancellation (SIC) is required at destinations (receivers) for signal detection, e.g., imperfect SIC (ipSIC) and perfect SIC (pSIC) are studied. The UAV relay benefits from the modes of full-duplex/half-duplex (FD/HD). We then derive analytical expressions of outage probability as main metric. Simulations are conducted to valid the analytical expressions. Moreover, the levels of the effectiveness of the FD mode and pSIC case are demonstrated through analysis and simulation and then compared with those of their counterparts. Numerical results are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed UAV-aided NOMA transmission strategies.

TL;DR: A fully automated Peierls–Nabarro (P–N) analyzer named PNADIS is presented; a complete set of the character and property of dislocation can be automatically derived, including the dislocation core structure, Peerls energy and stress, pressure field around dislocated core, solute/dislocation interaction energy, as well as the energy barrier and increase in critical-resolved shear stress at 0 K for solid solution strengthening.

TL;DR: An application of information extraction from company Web sites focusing on product offers using a statistical approach to text analysis and Ontological knowledge is used to group the extracted items into structured objects.
Abstract: We describe an application of information extraction from company Web sites focusing on product offers. A statistical approach to text analysis is used in conjunction with different ways of image classification. Ontological knowledge is used to group the extracted items into structured objects. The results are stored in an RDF repository and made available for structured search.
