Abstract: As caracterizacoes fisica e quimica do alimento sao importantes para descreve-lo e documenta-lo.

TL;DR: The population dynamics of the fruit fly species associated to the mango varieties are registered, as well as correlating the fly occurrence with the monthly averages of temperature, precipitation and relative humidity, and evaluating the food baits used to capture the insects.
Abstract: Piaui has a considerable mango area, being a great producer of this fruit. However, the presence of plagues like the fruit flies has provoked great impacts in the production chain, so these insects are part of a responsible group of great economic damages in mango tree culture. The knowledge of the population dynamics and the highest occurrence period of specific insect species of economic importance are indispensable requirement to establish an efficient and rational control. The purpose of the present work was to register the population dynamics of the fruit fly species associated to the mango varieties, as well as correlating the fly occurrence with the monthly averages of temperature, precipitation and relative humidity, and evaluate the food baits used to capture the insects. The research was done from June, 2004 to May, 2005, in mango commercial orchards (Mangifera indica L.-Anacardiaceae), with Tommy Atkins, Keitt, Kent and Palmer varieties, located in Jose de Freitas-Piaui-Brazil, latitude 04o50'S and longitude 42o41'W. Anastrepha obliqua and Anastrepha serpentina are the predominant fruit fly species in the mango crop.

Abstract: The experiment aimed to evaluate the effects of coconut meal inclusion (CM) in diets on performance and carcass traits of commercial broilers. 576 male birds from a commercial line with seven days of age were distributed in a completely randomized design with six treatments and eight replicates of 12 birds each. Treatments consisted of six isonutrientes diets containing 0; 3.5; 7.0; 10.5; 14.0 e 17.5% of CM. As the level of CM increased in diets, there was a liner reduction on feed intake (FI) and weight gain (WG) in all periods. For feed conversion (FC) there was a quadratic effect on the initial and a linear response for the total period. In relation to the control group it was observed that the birds fed ration containing CM reduced the feed consumption and the weight gain as well as they had the worst feed conversion. On the final period the consumption and weight gain were not different among the treatments. Carcass characteristics were not affected by CM inclusion. Coconut meal can be included in diets in levels up to 5% and 17.5% for broiler from 7 to 21 and 21 to 42 days of age, respectively.

TL;DR: In this article, an equilibrium problem for a differentiable bifunction which is not necessarily monotone is considered, and an implementable projection method is presented to identify a subsequence that converges to a solution under reasonable assumptions.
Abstract: In this article we consider an equilibrium problem for a differentiable bifunction which is not necessarily monotone. We present an implementable projection method. At each iteration, only one inexact projection onto a simple approximation of the constraint set is performed, such as a polyhedron, which renders it numerically attractive. The algorithm can identify, in practice, a subsequence that converges to a solution under reasonable assumptions. Some numerical results are reported showing the performance of our algorithm.
