Evaluation on Technology Innovation Efficiency of High-tech Industry in Jiangsu Province

Abstract: Using the data envelopment analysis(DEA),by horizontal comparison and longitudinal analysis,this paper evaluates the technological innovation efficiency of the high-tech industry in Jiangsu Province,and the efficiency of technological innovation of five high-tech industry in Jiangsu is analyzed in-depth.It provides the making-decision reference on enhancing the technological innovation efficiency of the high-tech industry in Jiangsu,even the whole country.

Study on the Relationship between R&D and Enterprise Performance Based on Enterprise Life Cycle: Empirical Research in Listed Firm

Abstract: This paper uses the Shenzhen listed companies as the research objects,which are classified as growth,maturation and decline phase three group based on the Enterprise Life Cycle theory,then made an empirical study on the relationship between RD investment and the current enterprise performance,lag phase,accumulative affection of RD input-output effectResearch result shows that RD investment make different performance for different enterprises life cycleEnterprises at growth phase has a significant positive impact on enterprise performance,and have a long accumulative affection;RD investment of enterprises at the mature phase has a short accumulative affection and have same affections on enterprise performance in other aspects with the enterprises of growth phase;all the results are not significant for the enterprises at the decline phaseWith looking into the empirical analysis,suggestions about RD investment strategies are proposed for the enterprise at different life cycles

The Outcome Evaluation of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars

Abstract: The paper established the evaluation index system of The National Science Fund for Young Scholars,designed the questionaire focusing on the fund winners,analyzed the support outcome of the fund based on questionnaire data by DEA,ANOVA,and gave some policy advices.

Evaluation Model of Enterprise Technology Innovation Based on ANP Theory

Abstract: In order to improve maneuverability of the enterprise technological innovation capability evaluation indexes,a new evaluation index system is designed. Aiming at the feedbacks characteristics between indexes,Analytic Network Process (ANP) method is applied to evaluate the capability of enterprise technological innovation based on the proposed index system. This method overcomes the correlation of factors,and provides a new idea for the Enterprise Technology Innovation evaluation.

Differences Study on the Operational Efficiency of Business Incubators in China——Based on Data Envelopment Analysis and Cluster Analysis

Abstract: In this paper,an empirical model has been built to study the efficiency differences among all the business incubators in China.First,technological efficiency,pure technological efficiency and scale efficiency of business incubators have been evaluated with the method of data envelopment analysis.Second,all the incubators have been divided into 4 kinds of different types by the K-mean Cluster Analysis:all-round efficiency incubator,scale-inefficient incubator,technological-inefficient incubator and all-inefficient incubator.Third,the meanings and features of different types of incubator have been discussed.Finally,we give some suggestions how to improve their efficiencies separately including that Current input-output combinations should be adjusted to avoid redundancy and waste of input resources,more attentions and researches should be focused on the efficiency improvement of this type of incubator.

The Effects of Knowledge Base Complementary on Technology Alliance Formation and Partner Selection

Abstract: Based on reviewing the literatures in related fields,this paper analyzed and defined the content of knowledge base complementary,it divided complementary into two dimensions:relatedness and differences.Further,integrated this division with enterprise technical knowledge base levels and two different types of technological alliances (exploration technology alliance,exploitation technology alliances),discussed the effects of inter-enterprise knowledge base complementary on technology alliance formation and partner selection,and put forward relevant inference for reference.

Management Team,R&D Expenditures Capitalization and Earnings Management Motivation----An Empirical Study Based on the New Standards of Intangible Assets

Abstract: In this paper,based on annual reports of listed companies which disclosed RD expenditure,we discuss the relationship between the listed company's R D expenditure capitalization and earnings management motivation.The main findings are as follows:listed companies which invest more RD expenditure trend to choose capitalization method management team implement earnings management behavior through the standards permission to select the capitalization of RD expenditures,their main motivation is to avoid losses and re-financing needs.Based on those findings,we propose that notes to financial statement should disclose that the different treatments about R D expenditure have impact of the profit.

Abstract: In this paper,based on the industry gravity model,we calculated the gravity center of the high-tech industries of China in 2000 and 2007.We analyzed the trend of the high-tech industries transferring,and draw 3 important characters of it.At last we analyzed the policies of how to improve the high-tech industries transferring in China.

Abstract: In this paper,we introduce the innovation network structural impact on innovation resource utilization which has an important practical significance of enhancing the capability of transmuting regional resource into income First of all,we define the concept of innovation resource,and based on the network structure statistical variables,establishing the model of innovation network structural impact on innovation resource utilization Then the simulation study has been done on the process of cluster innovation network structural impact on innovation resource utilization by using the combining method of simulation and empirical method The results show that the changes of the network structure could cause the agent choosing different utilization mechanisms and by this way to impact on innovation resource utilization ratio

Abstract: Owing to its breakthrough role in prompting and upgrading traditional ones,strategic emerging industries make differences in the optimization of regional industry structure.Since each region's economic development and social environment is diverse,how to select and develop emerging industries reasonably is of strategic importance.Relying on evaluation model,which is established based on AHP and fuzzy comprehensive assess methods,this study is of assist to realize the feasibility of advancing strategic emerging industries,to select and appraise these new ones comprehensively,accurately,and objectively.At last,this paper employs above model to demonstrate the evaluation and selection of auto manufacturing industry,say new energy automobile,in Hunan Province.

Knowledge Mapping of The 30-year History of the Science of Science in China——For The 30th Anniversary of Science of Science and Management of S.&T.

Abstract: The history of Science of Science and Management of S.T.is historical epitome of the rise and development of science of science in China.In this paper,firstly,statistical analysis is employed to analyze the literatures with the topic about science of science published in Chinese journals in the recent 30 years,and display the distribution of years,journals,and authors of the literatures.Science of Science and Management of S.T.is the top one among all journals,it leads the development direction of science of science in China.Then,the result of visualization analysis of the literatures shows the research fronts and major areas of science of science in China.There is a kind of circles structure of inner,middle and out layers,which shows tow major sectors,one is scientometrics lead by the quantitative analysis of science,the other is ST studies lead by the philosophical analysis of science,and their corresponding complementary routes in science of science.Look into the future,on the one hand,we need to follow the visualization shift of international science of science and scientometrics,and focus on the breadth and deepness of theories,methods and applications in science of science.On the other hand,we should follow the big changes of global knowledge,so as to deal with the newest revolution of modern ST and research methods.

Abstract: With the growth of knowledge employees in the workplace,motivtied employees are one of the key factors for maintaining organizational competitive advantage. Self-determination Theory analyses intrinsic motivation / extrinsic motivation from internalization perspective and describes the processes from extrinsic motivation to autonomous motivation. This paper reviews the research of SDT and proposes the motivating model based on SDT in Chinese culture context.

Literature Review on the Relationship between R&D Investment and Firm Performance——From Direct Effects to Moderating Effects

Abstract: The context of existing research on relationship between RD expenditure and firm performance are as follows:one way is to explore the direct relationship between them and to document the relationship between RD investment and firm's productivity,market value or accounting performance. The other way is to demonstrate the relationship between them in different operating conditions by adding moderators into the models. This paper reviews the literature about the relationship between RD expenditure and firm performance according to this train of thought and points out the areas in need of further research.

The R&D Efficiency of China's Fractionized High Technology Industry Based on the Angle of Value Chain

Abstract: This Paper use the slack DEA model to analysis the RD efficiency and its impacts of China's high-tech industry based on the value chain from the perspective of a two-stage analysis.The results show that the two-stage of technical innovation efficiency is low,the reason for the inefficiency is mainly from a purely technical inefficiency;Technology research stage gets an annual average of 11.9 percent improvement;the transformation phase is 3.7 percent.Increase in productivity in two phases is mainly from technological progress;Owner of the enterprise,market structure and government support have a positive impact on RD efficiency of high-tech industries,but the size of firm is not positively related with RD efficiency.At last,the paper gives some suggestions on improving RD efficiency of China's hi-tech industry.

The Evolution Research of Regional Innovation System Based on the Self-Organization Theory

Abstract: The regional innovation system has the self-organization feature,and its evolution is a circulation process that the structure is constantly complex and the system creativity is constantly enhanced.This thesis,on the basis of analyzing the resource integration system formation and the evolution process of regional innovation system,summarizes the self-organization characteristics of regional innovation system from the structure,uses the self-organization theory to expound the system's evolution mechanism from the system whole,and concludes that creating conditions can realize the self-organizing and orderly operation of regional innovation system.

An Empirical Study on Employees' Preferences toward the Implicit Taxonomy of Economic Compensation

Abstract: The implicit taxonomy of economic compensation is formed by employees according to their cognitive,affect,and behavior intentions.In this study,an open-ended questionnaire was firstly used in gathering the 24 commonly used economic compensation items.Then we explored their implicit structure among 722 employees in ten cities of six provinces in China.Both EFA and CFA showed that Chinese employees' implicit taxonomy of economic compensation was a stable SPISA structure,including ″salary″,″performance reward″,″social insurance benefit″,″employer-Sponsored benefit″,″allowance and subsidy″.Hierarchical regression analysis showed that: age,gender,education,position level,and firm's ownership have different impacts on employees' preference toward each dimension of SPISA structure of economic compensation.The related results provided important practical implications of how to maximize the motivational effect of firms' economic compensation at a fixed level of cost.

Abstract: Employee turnover has been normal conditions of corporation in our era.In order to increase employee's intention to retain,company must pay attention to the strategy of employee retention and establish a whole strategic human resource management system.This paper takes empirical research on relation between strategic human resource management practice and employee's intention to retain with the survey data from SHRM questionnaires.The research proves that all elements of SHRM play a role at employee's retention intention;SHRM practice could affect employee's intention to retain directly and indirectly.The paper also provides valuable suggestions for the establishment of the whole employee retaining system and strategic human resource management system.

Absorptive Capacity Extension from the Open Innvation Perspective

Abstract: The organizational absorptive capacity to leverage external knowledge resource is extremely important source of competitive advantage. With the development of open innovation and the complexity of the relationship between organization and its external environment,the existing absorptive capability concept couldn't explain the organizational behavior and competitive advantage in the network context and in the open innovation model. In this article,we review the antecedents,processes,output and moderators of the absorptive capacity,and analysis the three dimensions and two stages of the open innovation. Based on that,we propose that we could extend the concept according to the process dynamics,explorative and exploitative learning,combinative characters of the knowledge and ego-network,and the paths of the knowledge transfer. In the end,we suggest the future research direction about the absorptive capability and open innovation.

The Empirical Study on the Relationships between Dynamic Entrepreneurial Environment,Entrepreneurial Traits and Entrepreneurial Resources Identification——In the Perspective of Industrial Cluster

Abstract: Based on the perspective of industrial cluster,the article studied on the relationships between dynamic entrepreneurial environment,entrepreneurial traits and entrepreneurial resources identification.Reviewing the related literature,this article advanced some assumptions between dynamic industrial cluster environments,4 dimensions of entrepreneurial traits and entrepreneurial resources identification.In view of 368 valid samples,all assumptions are tested and then it arrived at some conclusions:Entrepreneurial resources identification had significant correlations with dynamic industrial cluster environment,4 dimensions of entrepreneurial traits;As an intermediary variable,3 dimensions of entrepreneurial traits these are the risk propensity,locus of control and uncertainty tolerance had significant impacts on the relationship between dynamic industrial cluster environment and entrepreneurial resources identification.The dimension of need for achievement had no significant effect on the relationship between dynamic industrial cluster environment and entrepreneurial resources identification.
