A general forming limit criterion for sheet metal forming

TLDR
In this article, it is shown that the forming limit for both proportional loading and non-proportional loading can be explained from a single criterion which is based on the state of stress rather than the state-of-stress.

A different approach for considering the effect of non-proportional loading path on the forming limit diagram of AA5083

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of strain path change on the forming limit diagram (FLD) of AA5083 sheet were investigated, and the results showed that pre-straining in biaxial tension generally reduces the FLC and shifts it to the right-hand side of the FLD, whereas pre-strain in uniaaxial tension raises the FCL and shifts them to the lefthand side.

Modeling of forming limit for multilayer sheets based on strain-rate potentials

TL;DR: In this article, a method based on plastic stain-rate potentials, which are especially convenient to apply for rigid-viscoplasticity, was considered in order to evaluate the forming limits of planar anisotropic multilayer sheet materials.

Necking limit of substrate-supported metal layers under biaxial in-plane loading

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the necking limit of a metal/substrate bilayer over the full range of biaxial loading ratio, from 1 for equivalent loading, to 0 for plane strain load- ing, and to 1/2 for univalent loading.

A multi-step analysis for determining admissible blank-holder forces in deep-drawing operations

TL;DR: In this article, a methodology to determine admissible blank-holder forces in deep-drawing operations was established, based on the comparison of the numerical principal strains fields, obtained in the numerical simulations, with the limiting strains determined analytically for both base materials.

Contribution à la modélisation de la mise en forme des tôles métalliques : application au retour élastique et à la localisation

TL;DR: In this article, a modelisation phenomenologique du comportement elasto-plastique is proposed, which is enriched by two different schemas d'integration, i.e., the modele d'endommagement of Lemaitre-Chaboche and the modelle microstructural of Teodosiu-Hu.
