American Society of Echocardiography clinical recommendations for multimodality cardiovascular imaging of patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy: Endorsed by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, and Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.

TLDR
This research presents a meta-analyses of the determinants of infectious disease outbreaks in eight operation theatres across the United States and Canada over a period of 12 months in the period of May 21 to 29, 2012.

2020 AHA/ACC Guideline for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Patients With Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy: Executive Summary: A Report of the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association Joint Committee on Clinical Practice Guidelines

TL;DR: This summary operationalizes the recommendations from the full guideline and presents a combination of diagnostic work-up, genetic and family screening, risk stratification approaches, lifestyle modifications, surgical and catheter interventions, and medications that constitute components of guideline directed medical therapy.

Noninvasive Cardiac Imaging in Patients With Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

TL;DR: This review discusses the existing methodology with emphasis on current and emerging clinical applications in patients with HCM and noninvasive imaging's role in detecting the disease, understanding its pathophysiology, and selecting as well as guiding appropriate therapy.

Dipyridamole stress thallium-201 perfusion abnormalities in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Relationship to clinical presentation and outcome

TL;DR: It is shown that fixed thallium-201 perfusion defects detected during dipyridamole stress in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy are associated with syncope, larger left ventricular cavity dimensions and reduced exercise capacity.

Left Ventricular Outflow Tract Planimetry by Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Differentiates Obstructive from Non-Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

TL;DR: CMR planimetry at rest is a promising tool to evaluate patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and standard sequences with 3D coverage of the left ventricular outflow tract identified obstruction as defined by echocardiography with 100% accuracy.

Impact of surgical relief of outflow obstruction on thallium perfusion abnormalities in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

TL;DR: Surgical relief of left ventricular outflow obstruction results in normalization or improvement of myocardial perfusion in the majority of patients with reversible and fixed perfusion defects by 201T1 scintigraphy, however, surgery may result in myocardIAL injury and scarring, with consequent decreased left vent cardiac ejection fraction in some patients.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in childhood

TL;DR: It is timely to place perspective and clarify many of these relevant clinical issues, and profile the rapidly evolving concepts regarding HCM, especially as they may impact on this disease in childhood.
