Molecular Dynamics Study of the Electric Double Layer and Nonlinear Spectroscopy at the Amorphous Silica-Water Interface.

TL;DR: Using extensive molecular dynamics simulations, this electrical double layer at the amorphous silica-aqueous electrolyte interface is studied as a function of salt concentration for a silica surface charge density of -0.82 e/nm2 (e = electron charge).

Ionic aggregate dissolution and conduction in a plasticized single-ion polymer conductor

TL;DR: In this article, a poly(ethylene glycol) plasticizer is blended with a PEO-based single ion conductor to lower the glass transition temperature of the ionomer and solvate the lithium counterions.

Influence of Water and Filler Content on the Dielectric Response of Silica-Filled Rubber Compounds

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of water and filler content on the dielectric response of silica-filled rubber compounds was analyzed by means of spectroscopy in combination with thermal analysis, and it was shown that the frequency of the maximum for this process is strongly affected by the amount of water attached to the silica particles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Broadband dielectric response of dichloromethane

TL;DR: In this paper, a systematic study of the dielectric response of dichloromethane over a broad frequency range (8.5 GHz, 1000 GHz, and 4.3 GHz at 25°C) at temperatures from 5 to 35°C is reported.

Low-frequency relaxation modes in ferroelectric liquid crystal/gold nanoparticle dispersion: impact of nanoparticle shape

TL;DR: In this article, low-frequency (1 mHz-100 Hz) dielectric relaxation modes were experimentally studied in ferroelectric liquid crystal (FLC)/gold nanoparticles (nanospheres and nanorods) dispersion.
