Molecular mobility and Li(+) conduction in polyester copolymer ionomers based on poly(ethylene oxide).

TL;DR: The segmental and local dynamics as well as the transport of Li(+) cations in a series of model poly(ethylene oxide)-based single-ion conductors with varying ion content are investigated, using dielectric relaxation spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dielectric spectroscopy – yesterday, today and tomorrow

TL;DR: In this paper, the scaling behavior of the glass transition and the dynamics of molecules in confined space are discussed, and a brief outlook of dielectric techniques is discussed, e.g., non-resonant dielectrics, hole-burning spectroscopy, dielectoric thermal expansion spectrograms, and measurements using an atomic force microscope.

Structure and Dynamics of the Functionalized MOF Type UiO-66(Zr): NMR and Dielectric Relaxation Spectroscopies Coupled with DFT Calculations

TL;DR: In this paper, an innovative combining approach applied to the complex architecture of MOFs has been revealed successful not only to unambiguously assign all the NMR signals to the corresponding crystallographic sites but also to validate the crystal structures for each functionalized material that were only predicted so far.

Microwave Absorption and EMI Shielding Behavior of Nanocomposites Based on Intrinsically Conducting Polymers, Graphene and Carbon Nanotubes

Parveen Saini, +1 more
TL;DR: Saini et al. as discussed by the authors studied microwave absorption and EMI shielding behavior of nanocomposites based on Intrinsically Conducting Polymers, Graphene and Carbon Nanotubes.

Impact-induced glass transition in elastomeric coatings

TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate that impact induces a transition to the glassy state, with the accompanying response markedly different from that of a rubber, and that the segmental dynamics are faster than the strain rate during impact loading.
