Mauritian principals' responses to total quality management concepts in education

TL;DR: This article investigated the link between total quality management (TQM) and school leadership in Mauritius and found that whilst principals overwhelmingly agreed with progressive notions compatible with TQM, their discourses remained essentially theoretical.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the changing social, ecclesial and educational contexts within which the Catholic school has operated in the decades following the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) and found that the demise of "inherited meanings" and the reimagining of a new meaning structure provided the conceptual template for the study.
