TLDR
A new adaptive equalization technique is proposed that combines both the least-mean-fourth (LMF) algorithm, which is governed by a non- Mean-square cost function, with a power-of-two quantizer (PTQ) in the coefficient update process, which greatly reduces the computational cost involved and which therefore makes the proposed technique applicable to time-varying environments.

Quantized Kernel Least Mean Square Algorithm

TL;DR: A quantized kernel least mean square (QKLMS) algorithm is developed, which is based on a simple online vector quantization method, and a lower and upper bound on the theoretical value of the steady-state excess mean square error is established.

Adaptive system identification using robust LMS/F algorithm

TL;DR: An effective approach to identify unknown system adaptively by using combined LMS and LMF algorithms in different SNR regions is proposed and experiment-based parameter selection is established to optimize the performance as well as to keep the low computational complexity.

Robust adaptive algorithms for underwater acoustic channel estimation and their performance analysis

TL;DR: A novel family of adaptive robust channel estimators for highly challenging underwater acoustic channels using adaptive filtering techniques based on minimization of a logarithmic cost function, which results in a better trade-off between the convergence rate and the steady state performance of the algorithm.

Design of IIR Digital Filter using Modified Chaotic Orthogonal Imperialist Competitive Algorithm (RESEARCH NOTE)

TL;DR: In this article, the performance of chaotic orthogonal imperialist competitive algorithm has been improved through some modifications in it and this modified algorithm was applied in designing IIR digital filters and their performance has been compared to many evolutionary algorithms.
