TLDR
In this paper, a detailed quantitative calculation is carried out of the tunneling process described by the Belavin-Polyakov-Schwarz-Tyupkin field configuration, where a certain chiral symmetry is violated as a consequence of the Adler-Bell-Jackiw anomaly.
Abstract
A detailed quantitative calculation is carried out of the tunneling process described by the Belavin-Polyakov-Schwarz-Tyupkin field configuration. A certain chiral symmetry is violated as a consequence of the Adler-Bell-Jackiw anomaly. The collective motions of the pseudoparticle and all contributions from single loops of scalar, spinor, and vector fields are taken into account. The result is an effective interaction Lagrangian for the spinors.

Topological quantum field theory

TL;DR: A twisted version of four dimensional supersymmetric gauge theory is formulated in this paper, which refines a nonrelativistic treatment by Atiyah and appears to underlie many recent developments in topology of low dimensional manifolds; the Donaldson polynomial invariants of four manifolds and the Floer groups of three manifolds appear naturally.

Theory and phenomenology of two-Higgs-doublet models

TL;DR: In this article, theoretical and phenomenological aspects of two-Higgs-doublet extensions of the Standard Model are discussed and a careful study of spontaneous CP violation is presented, including an analysis of the conditions which have to be satisfied in order for a vacuum to violate CP.

Nonabelian Bosonization in Two-Dimensions

TL;DR: In this article, a non-abelian generalization of the usual formulas for bosonization of fermions in 1+1 dimensions is presented, which is equivalent to a local bose theory which manifestly possesses all the symmetries of the fermi theory.

Dimension-Six Terms in the Standard Model Lagrangian

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors considered the Standard Model as an effective low-energy theory, higher dimensional interaction terms appear in the Lagrangian and performed their classification once again from the outset.

Chiral magnetic effect

TL;DR: In this article, the chiral magnetic effect of topological charge changing transitions in the quark-gluon plasma has been studied and an electromagnetic current is generated along the magnetic field.
