Influence of strain rate on subsolvus dynamic and post-dynamic recrystallization kinetics of Inconel 718

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of strain rate on dynamic and post-dynamic recrystallization kinetics of Inconel 718 was investigated by performing hot compression tests at constant strain rate in the range [ 0.001 ; 1 ] s − 1 in the δ -subsolvus domain, with or without post-deformation holding at the deformation temperature.

Texture control by {10-12} twinning to improve the formability of Mg alloys: A review

TL;DR: In this paper, a review of recent researches on texture control via twinning deformation and its influence on stretch formability is presented, where the main contents include the micro-mechanism and impact factors of control in twin-orientation, plastic processing techniques of pre-inducing twins and the application of preinduced twins in improvement of stretch-formability.

Effect of the Zener-Hollomon parameter on the dynamic recrystallization kinetics of Mg–Zn–Zr–Yb magnesium alloy

TL;DR: In this article, the progress of dynamic recrystallization (DRX) was modeled by the modified Avrami type equation and the DRX kinetics was expressed as a function of the Zener-Hollomon (Z) parameter.

Interaction between texture evolution and dynamic recrystallization of extruded AZ80 magnesium alloy during hot deformation

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of compression experiments along extrusion (ED) and radius (RD) direction were carried out on the as-extruded AZ80 magnesium alloy with 10 1 ǫ 0 > ED fiber texture at 200-300°C. The results showed that there are a more homogeneous microstructure and a stronger softening trend on the true stress-strain curves in ED than in RD.

Kinetic model for describing continuous and discontinuous dynamic recrystallization behaviors of 2195 aluminum alloy during hot deformation

TL;DR: In this paper, hot compression experiments were performed on 2195 aluminum alloy to investigate its dynamic recrystallization (DRX) behavior, and the results indicated that discontinuous (DDRX and continuous dynamic re-stallization) both occurred in the alloy from 300°C to 520°C at strain rates of 0.01−10−1.2.
