Folgende neue Verbindungen aus der Reihe der Oxy-tryptamine werden beschrieben: 5-Oxy-ω-N-methyl-tryptamin, 5-Oxy-ω-N-athyl-tryptamin, 5-Oxy-ω-N, N-diathyl-tryptamin, 5-Oxy-ω-N-β-aminoathyl-tryptamin, N-[β-(5-Oxy-indolyl-(3))-athyl]-piperidin, sowie zwei Stellungsisomere des Serotonins, das 4-Oxy-tryptamin und das 6-Oxy-tryptamin.read more

TL;DR: The maximum plasma levels appearing within a very short period indicate a rapid dephosphorylation of PY also when administered systemically, and high performance liquid chromatographic procedures with column-switching coupled with electrochemical detection (HPLC-ECD) for reliable quantitative determination of the PY metabolites psilocin (PI) and 4-hydroxyindole-3-acetic acid (4HIAA) in human plasma were established.
