Journal ArticleDOI

Contribution of SPECT/CT for sentinel node localization in patients with ipsilateral breast cancer relapse.

TL;DR: Using SPECT/CT there is a trend to visualize more SNs in LBCR, providing at the same time important anatomical information to adjust intraoperative SN procedures, which may lead to better staging mainly in patients presenting drainage outside the ipsilateral axilla.
Journal ArticleDOI

Promoter methylation of Wnt/β-Catenin signal inhibitor TMEM88 is associated with unfavorable prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer.

TL;DR: The association between promoter methylation of TMEM88, a possible inhibitor of the Wnt/β-Catenin signaling, and the survival of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) was investigated and it was found that demethylation treatment could inhibit tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chitosan gel vaccine protects against tumour growth in an intracaecal mouse model of cancer by modulating systemic immune responses

TL;DR: Results indicate that subcutaneous vaccination with Gel + OVA generates a population of functional CD8+ memory T cells in lymphoid tissue able to protect against intracaecal tumour challenge.
Journal ArticleDOI

Economic Growth and Cancer Incidence

TL;DR: It is found that the incidence rate of all-sites cancer increases linearly with per capita income, even after controlling for population ageing, improvement in cancer detection, and omitted spatially correlated variables.
Journal ArticleDOI

Facile fabrication of reduction-responsive supramolecular nanoassemblies for co-delivery of doxorubicin and sorafenib toward hepatoma cells

TL;DR: This novel supramolecular nanosystem provided a simple strategy to co-deliver doxorubicin and sorafenib toward hepatoma cells, which showed promising potential for treatment of HCC.
