Impulse noise removal using SVM classification based fuzzy filter from gray scale images

TLDR
Support vector machine (SVM) classification based Fuzzy filter (FF) is proposed for removal of impulse noise from gray scale images and suggests that this system outperforms some of the state of art methods while preserving structural similarity to a large extent.

Different applied median filter in salt and pepper noise

TL;DR: DAMF could be successfully removed SAP noise at all densities and was compared with other methods by using Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Structural Similarity (SSIM) for some images such as Cameraman and Lena.

Combination of adaptive vector median filter and weighted mean filter for removal of high-density impulse noise from colour images

TL;DR: It is observed from the experiments that the proposed filter outperforms some of the existing noise removal techniques not only at low density impulse noise but also at high-density impulse noise.

A fuzzy multi-objective hybrid TLBO-PSO approach to select the associated genes with breast cancer

TL;DR: A new hybrid algorithm is proposed to identify the most relevant genes involved in breast cancer development using a combination of the teaching learning-based optimization (TLBO) algorithm and the proposed mutated fuzzy adaptive particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm.

SVM-based robust image watermarking technique in LWT domain using different sub-bands

TL;DR: Comparative analysis suggests that the proposed sub-band provides improved performance over some benchmark methods in most of the cases, whereas variation of robustness performance on different sub-bands depend on the type of attacks.

Image quality assessment: from error visibility to structural similarity

TL;DR: In this article, a structural similarity index is proposed for image quality assessment based on the degradation of structural information, which can be applied to both subjective ratings and objective methods on a database of images compressed with JPEG and JPEG2000.
