Comparison of current methods used to detect Cryptosporidium oocysts in stools.
TL;DR: There is no standardization for the protocols that are commonly used to either detect oocysts in faeces or to diagnose the Cryptosporidium infection, so it is necessary to initiate further education and research that will assist in improving the accuracy of the diagnosis.

Clinicopathologic and atypical features of naturally occurring leptospirosis in dogs: 51 cases (2000-2010).
TL;DR: Increased awareness of atypical abnormalities may decrease misdiagnosis of leptospirosis in dogs, and significant associations were found between antibodies against serogroups Grippotyphosa and renal involvement and serogroup Icterohaemorrhagiae and hepatic involvement.

TL;DR: CPV and CAV-1 appear to be enzootic in the Iberian wolf population, which is supported by the absence of seasonal and inter-annual variations in the proportion of positive samples detected and the probability of wolf exposure to CPV was positively and significantly correlated with farm density in a buffer zone around the place where the wolf was found, indicating that rural dogs might be the origin of CPV infected wolves.
