Highly Enantioselective Synthesis of Sultams via Pd-Catalyzed Hydrogenation

TL;DR: Using pd(cf(3)co(2)2/(S,S)-f-Binaphane as the catalyst, an efficient enantioselective synthesis of sultams was developed via asymmetric hydrogenation of the corresponding cyclic imines with high enantiOSElectivities.

An RCM Strategy to Stereodiverse δ-Sultam Scaffolds

TL;DR: This study demonstrates the facile construction of a stereochemically diverse array of substituted delta-sultams, more specifically substituted 3,4,5,6-dihydro 1,2-thiazine 1,1-dioxides.

N-Functionally substituted imines of polychlorinated (brominated) aldehydes and ketones

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis, structure and chemical transformations of N-acyl-, N-alkoxy(aryloxy)carbonyl, N-carbamoyl-, n-sulfonyl- and N-phosphoryl-imines of chlorine-containing ketones and aldehydes are surveyed and described systematically.

Oxygen saturation during breath-holding and during apneas in sleep

TL;DR: It is concluded that during wakefulness the presence or absence of respiratory efforts does not affect the rate of fall in SaO2 during breath-holding and that the rates of fall of SaO1 during sleep apnea is largely dependent on the initial SaO3 at the onset of apnea.
