Separation of Carbon Dioxide from Natural Gas Mixtures through Polymeric Membranes—A Review
TL;DR: In this article, the application of polymeric membranes to natural gas separation accelerated with the development of asymmetric membranes, which retain their selective characteristics, but after increased permeation rates as compared to their dense counterparts.
Journal ArticleDOI
Green chemistry and polymers made from sulfur
TL;DR: In this article, the authors examine the challenge in the context of an emerging class of polymers made from elemental sulfur and present a forward looking assessment of the opportunities for using sulfur polymers in Green Chemistry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Carbon membranes from blends of PBI and polyimides for N2/CH4 and CO2/CH4 separation and hydrogen purification
TL;DR: In this article, the correlation between pyrolysis process parameters and separation performance of developed carbon molecular sieve membranes was investigated and the results showed that compared to Torlon and P84, Matrimid is a better choice for preparation of blend precursors in combination with PBI.
