TLDR
In this article, the magnetic structure of V 5 S 8 has been investigated by neutron diffraction at low temperature, and two single crystals (sample 1 and sample 2) grown by the same procedure gave considerably different results.

Incommensurate Magnetic Ordering and Spin-Liquid-Like State in a Triangular Lattice BaVS3: Neutron Diffraction and Scattering Study

TL;DR: In this article, powder neutron diffraction and scattering experiments of the triangular lattice system, BaVS 3, were performed and it was determined that the propagation vector is incommensurate (0.226 0.226 ) in the hexagonal index and the ordered moment is roughly estimated to be ∼ 0.5 µ B /V.

Electronic and magnetic properties of

TL;DR: In this article, the electronic properties of monoclinic in its paramagnetic, ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic states have been studied by means of the linear muffin-tin orbital method of band-structure calculation.

Thickness-Dependent and Magnetic-Field-Driven Suppression of Antiferromagnetic Order in Thin V5S8 Single Crystals.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that single crystals of magnetic materials with nanometer thicknesses are promising systems for future studies of magnetism in reduced dimensionality and quantum phase transitions.

Recent progress on emergent two-dimensional magnets and heterostructures.

TL;DR: A comprehensive overview of the recent progress on the emergent 2D magnets and heterostructures can be found in this paper, where several kinds of typical 2D magnetic materials discovered in the last few years are summarized in detail.

Anomalous field-induced magnetic transitions in V5X8 (X=S, Se)

TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetization of V 5 S 8 and V 5 Se 8 was measured in pulsed high magnetic fields up to 39 T. The magnetization curves exhibited saturation for both compounds.

Hartree–Fock atomic scattering factors for the iron transition series

TL;DR: In this article, the Hartree-Fock wave function was used to determine the spatial symmetry of the outer electrons of the argon core, and the question of the constancy of the core was discussed quantitutively.

Effect of Spin Fluctuations on Itinerant Electron Ferromagnetism. II

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of spin fluctuations on itinerant electron ferromagnetism was extended to include the ferromagnetic phase and the correction to the Hartree-Fock free energy as a function of magnetization was expressed in terms of the transversal dynamical susceptibilities.

Crystal structures of V3S4 and V5S8

TL;DR: In this article, the ordered phases of V3S4 and V5S8 were refined with single crystal data, and short metal-metal bonds were found between the layers as well as within them.

NMR Investigations on the Spin Fluctuations in Itinerant Antiferromagnets-2-V3S4 and V5S8

TL;DR: In this article, the properties of the spin density fluctuations in the itinerant antiferromagnetic compounds V 3 S 4 and V 5 S 8 have been investigated in both the paramagnetic and the antifromagnetic states by using the pulsed NMR technique.
