TLDR
In this article, the total and differential cross sections and hyperon polarizations were measured with the SAPHIR detector at the electron stretcher ring ELSA at Bonn, showing that the total cross section for Λ produces a strong threshold enhancement whereas the Σ 0 data have a maximum at about E γ = 1.45 GeV.

SU(3) chiral dynamics with coupled channels eta and kaon photoproduction

TL;DR: In this paper, the s-wave amplitudes of the SU(3) chiral meson-baryon Lagrangian with a coupled channel potential were identified in a Lippmann-Schwinger equation, and the strangeness S = −1 resonance Λ(1405) and the S 11(1535) nucleon resonance emerged as quasi-bound states of anti-kaon/nucleon and kaon/Σ-hyperon.
