Mode charts of gyromagnetic planar ring resonators

TLDR
The modes and frequencies of demagnetised and magnetized planar disc, triangular, wye and hexagonal resonators have already been described in the literature as mentioned in this paper, and another resonator which has the required symmetry is the ring resonator.
Abstract
The modes and frequencies of demagnetised and magnetised planar disc, triangular, wye and hexagonal resonators have already been described in the literature. Another resonator which has the required symmetry is the ring resonator. Here we give the resonant frequencies of this type of gyromagnetic resonator.

On planar Y-ring circulators

TL;DR: In this paper, a new design is given using air in the center of the ring and treating the ring circulator as a composite dielectric-ferrite (DF) circulator.

Low-Profile Leaky Wave Electric Monopole Loop Antenna Using the $\beta=0$ Regime of a Ferrite-Loaded Open Waveguide

TL;DR: In this article, a low-profile leaky-wave electric monopole loop antenna in the regime of a composite right/left-handed (CRLH) ferrite-loaded open waveguide is presented.

Nonreciprocal devices using ferrite ring resonators

TL;DR: In this article, a ring structure requires a smaller diameter and ferrite thickness than a disc structure for the same frequency, and increased component density may therefore be possible at the expense of bandwidth.

More compact ferrite circulator junctions with predicted performance

TL;DR: In this paper, the analysis of two novel types of three-port junction circulators is discussed in detail, and, neglecting losses, graphs of the predicted performance of specific theoretical designs are shown.

Complex gyrator circuit of junction circulators using weakly magnetised ring resonators

TL;DR: In this paper, the degenerate and split frequencies of the ring resonator have been established and an understanding of its complex gyrator circuit requires only a definition of its susceptance slope parameter.

Operation of the Ferrite Junction Circulator

TL;DR: In this article, a detailed field theory of the strip-line Y-junction circulator operating with n = 1 is presented, and experiments designed to confirm the validity of the rotating normal mode description of circulator action are presented; these include measurements of mode frequencies and electric field patterns.

On Stripline Y-Circulation at UHF

TL;DR: In this article, the simplified boundary value problem of the circular strip-line Y-circulator is stated and, following experimental results, the circulation parameters are calculated and discussed, and the frequency characteristics are evaluated and a general method for broadbanding the device is presented.

TL;DR: In this paper, a theory is described which takes into account the curvature of the microstrip ring resonator, which is shown to have a large influence on dispersion measurements on microstrip lines with small impedences.

A Simple Method for Computing the Resonant Frequencies of Microstrip Ring Resonators

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple and efficient method for the computation of the resonant frequencies of microstrip ring resonators is presented, by means of the reaction concept, a stationary formula is derived.

Circulators Using Planar Triangular Resonators

TL;DR: The theoretical description of 3-port circulators using planar triangular resonators is given in this article, where the standing-wave solution is obtained by taking a linear combination of two TM/sub 1,0,1/ standing waves with one of them rotated through 120/spl deg.
