TLDR
In this article, a series of Zn1-xCuxO nanocrystalline films were deposited on a silica substrate using e-beam evaporation technology, and the physical properties of the deposited film were closely examined using x-ray diffraction, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDXS), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and spectroscopic ellipsometry (SE).

Improved toxic NO2 gas sensing response of Cu-doped ZnO thin-film sensors derived by simple co-precipitation route

TL;DR: In this paper , a simple co-precipitation method was used to synthesize 0.4 at.% Cu-doped ZnO (ZC0-ZC4) nanomaterials and the drop-casting method is used to prepare ZC 0-Zc4 thin-film sensors, which showed excellent reproducibility and response/recovery time for the NO2 gas response.

Experimental and DFT study of structural and optical properties of Ni-doped ZnO nanofiber thin films for optoelectronic applications

TL;DR: In this article , pure and nickel-doped ZnO nanostructured films were synthesized via the sol-gel method using the spin coating technique on glass substrates and structural results revealed that all samples exhibited a polycrystalline wurtzite structure and a (002) plane preferred orientation.
