Photosynthetic suspended-growth systems in aquaculture

TLDR
The principle advantages of photosynthetic suspended-growth systems are lower capital costs relative to other recirculating aquaculture systems and increased control over stock management relative to conventional static ponds and the main disadvantage is the relatively low degree of control over water quality and phytoplankton density, metabolism, and community composition.
