TLDR
In this article, the morphologies of the as-polymerized, doped and blended PANI were studied and it was found that the morphology of PANI was strongly related to the rate of oxidant addition, synthesis duration and synthesis temperature.

Morphology of polyaniline redoped by kneading with dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that both the developing and redoping processes are influenced by the morphology of the PANI aggregates containing the primary particles, and that the detailed morphology develops during the aniline polymerization step and may vary from closed to open structures depending on the polymerization conditions.
