TLDR
In this paper, an overview of the theory of the near-zone Doppler effect is presented. But, the authors do not consider the effect of near-zones on the spectrum of the reflector and Horn antennas.

Fractal antennas: a novel antenna miniaturization technique, and applications

TL;DR: Fractal geometry involves a recursive generating methodology that results in contours with infinitely intricate fine structures, which can be used to miniaturize wire and patch antennas using fractals as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fractal multiband antenna based on the Sierpinski gasket

TL;DR: In this article, the self-similarity properties of the Sierpinski antenna's fractal shape is exploited for designing new multiband and frequency independent antennas, based on which a multiband behavior over five bands is demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anomalous Subdiffusion in Fluorescence Photobleaching Recovery: A Monte Carlo Study

TL;DR: The simulations show that the simplest approximate treatment of anomalous subdiffusion usually gives good results, and it is useful to fit the recovery curve with both the usual recovery equation and the anomalous one, and to judge the goodness of fit on log-log plots.
Journal ArticleDOI

Perturbed Sierpinski multiband fractal antenna with improved feeding technique

TL;DR: In this article, the multiband behavior of a series of perturbed fractal Sierpinski gasket antennas was described and two methods were presented that improved the inherently poor input impedance match of the antenna with a 50 /spl Omega/ port.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fractal surface scattering : a generalized rayleigh solution

TL;DR: In this article, a generalized Rayleigh solution for electromagnetic wave scattering from perfectly conducting fractal surfaces is proposed. But the authors consider the scattering of electromagnetic waves from perfectlyconducting fractal surface.
