TLDR
Stem segments of adult plants of Ficus religiosa L. cultured on MS medium containing 1.0 mg/l 2,4-D produced callus and shoots regenerated when the induced calli were transferred to medium supplemented with 0.05 to 2.0mg/l BAP.
Abstract
Stem segments of adult plants of Ficus religiosa L. cultured on MS medium containing 1.0 mg/l 2,4-D produced callus. Shoots were regenerated when the induced calli were transferred to medium supplemented with 0.05 to 2.0 mg/l BAP. Callus derived shoots produced roots and developed into plantlets when transferred to medium supplemented with 1.0 mg/l NAA.

Tissue culture and plant regeneration of watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris Schrad. cv. Melitopolski)

TL;DR: Plants were regenerated from cotyledon and hypocotyl explants of watermelon using a Murashige and Skoog's basal nutrient medium supplemented with auxin, cytokinin and auxin-cytokinin combinations.

Enhanced shoot multiplication in Ficus religiosa L. in the presence of adenine sulphate, glutamine and phloroglucinol

TL;DR: Rooting was best induced in micro-shoots excised from proliferated shoot cultures on semi-solid as well as liquid WPM modified with 2.0 mg/l IBA and 0.5 mg/, where the established plants showed more than 90 % survival.

Effect of plant growth regulators on callus induction and plant regeneration in tuber segment culture of potato ( Solanum tuberosum L. ) cultivar Diamant

TL;DR: Investigation of the effects of different concentrations and combinations of growth regulators on callus induction and plant regeneration of potato cultivar Diamant found that callus derived shoots were rooted most effectively in half-strength MS medium, while regeneration plants were morphologically uniform with normal leaf shape and growth pattern.

Micropropagation of tropical and subtropical fruits

R. E. Litz, +1 more
TL;DR: Among the underexploited tropical and subtropical fruits, whose production is often very important regionally, conventional vegetative propagation can be either quite inefficient, e.g. mamey sapote (Calocarpum sapota) and longan (Euphoria longan), or virtually impossible based upon several hundred years of experience.
