Study on frequency, etiology and some enzymatic activities of subclinical ovine mastitis in Urmia, Iran

TLDR
The increment in LDH and ALP in milk of udders shows the presence of tissue damage provoked by SCM, and these parameters might be suitable for use in the early diagnosis of subclinical mastitis in ewes.

L-lactate dehydrogenase and N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase activities in bovine milk as indicators of non-specific mastitis

TL;DR: In healthy cows, LDH activity, NAGase activity and SCC started at a high level immediately after calving and decreased to low levels approximately 30-40 d post partum, but all the three parameters increased due to clinical mastitis.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of subclinical mastitis on milk composition in dairy cows

TL;DR: In this article, milk samples were collected from quarters of 35 cows with subclinical mastitis (California mastitis test (CMT) positive and somatic cell counts (SCC) >500,000 cells/ml in individual quarter foremilk), as well as from 37 healthy controls.
Journal ArticleDOI

Assessment of lactate dehydrogenase, alkaline phosphatase and aspartate aminotransferase activities in cow's milk as an indicator of subclinical mastitis.

TL;DR: LDH and ALP tests were standardized for cow's milk and results showed that only the ALP test was reliable in the early diagnosis of subclinical mastitis.

Changes in some biochemical parameters and somatic cell counts in the milk of buffalo and cattle suffering from mastitis.

TL;DR: This document is intended to provide a history of the music industry in the United States and some of the factors that led to its development and approval are described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Clinical and Diagnostic Significance of Lactate Dehydrogenase and Its Isoenzymes in Animals.

TL;DR: Determination of total LDH activity and its isoenzyme pattern in serum of mammals had become one of the biochemical indicators in the assessment of organ disorders and assumes a more clinical significance when separated into isoen enzyme fractions.
