Final state interactions in hadronic B decays

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the final-state rescattering effects on the hadronic $B$ decay rates and their impact on direct CP violation and showed that the effect of rescattering on the CP violation is very small in the standard model even after the inclusion of FSIs.

Probing the nature of Z c (′) states via the η c ρ decay

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyze the Z c ( ′ ) → η c ρ decay using both approaches, and provide useful insights on the nature of Z c( ′ ), helping discriminating between the two different models.

Hidden beauty baryon states in the local hidden gauge approach with heavy quark spin symmetry

TL;DR: Using a coupled channel unitary approach, combining the heavy quark spin symmetry and the dynamics of the local hidden gauge, the authors investigated the meson-baryon interaction with hidden beauty and obtained several new states of N ∗ around 11 GeV.

QCD and resonance physics. theoretical foundations

TL;DR: In this paper, a systematic study is made of the non-perturbative effects in quantum chromodynamics, where the basic object is the two-point functions of various currents and the terms of this series are shown to be of two distinct types.

QCD and Resonance Physics: Applications

TL;DR: In this article, the dispersion charmonium theory was extended to include power terms due to the nonperturbative effects of QCD, and an estimate for the gluonic vacuum expectation value was derived.

An Effective field theory for collinear and soft gluons: Heavy to light decays

TL;DR: In this paper, the Lagrangian was constructed for an effective theory of highly energetic quarks with energy Q, interacting with collinear and soft gluons, and the heavy to light currents were matched onto operators in the effective theory at one loop.

Soft collinear factorization in effective field theory

TL;DR: In this article, the leading-order Lagrangian is derived using power counting and gauge invariance in the effective theory, and the factorization of soft and ultrasoft gluons from collinear particles is shown at the level of operators in effective field theory.

QCD factorization for B ---> pi pi decays: Strong phases and CP violation in the heavy quark limit

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the hadronic matrix elements that enter B meson decays into two light mesons can be computed from first principles, including {open_quotes}nonfactorizable strong interaction corrections, and expressed in terms of form factors and meson light-cone distribution amplitudes.
