Preparation of activated carbon from Enteromorpha prolifera and its use on cationic red X-GRL removal
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of activation parameters such as activation temperature, weight ratio (Enteromorpha prolifera to ZnCl2), and activation time was investigated, and the results showed that the surface area and pore volume of activated carbons were achieved as high as 1722 m2/g and 1.11 cm3/g, respectively, in the optimal activation conditions.
