Coolant Wetting Simulation on Simplified Stator Coil Model by the Phase-Field Lattice Boltzmann Method
TL;DR: In this paper , the phase-field lattice Boltzmann method was used to obtain the flow and wetting characteristics of a single-layered rod array with different rod gaps.
Journal ArticleDOI
Expanding Taylor bubble under constant heat flux
TL;DR: In this article, a model of non-isothermal bubbles expanding in a capillary, as a contribution to the understanding of the physical phenomena taking place in Pulsating Heat Pipes (PHPs), is the scope of this paper.

Thermo–Mechano–Chemical Coupling During CMAS Corrosion in TBCs
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors discuss the potential of oxides in these dust, corrosive particles, and impurities, such as CaO2, MgO, Al2O3, and SiO2 (collectively referred to as CMAS for short), pose a threat to aeroengine turbines during operation.

Characterization of liquid permeation through fibrous structure by texture analysis
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated the suitability of the texture analysis to assess the uniformity of liquid penetration through the paper structure in terms of the degree of the paper sizing and found that the maximum value of entropy and contrast, the time of reaching both values, the points of inflection of the curves during their decrease, and the times by which these points were reached can be useful parameters that provide information about the nature of the liquid flow through the porous material structure.
