TLDR
In this article, the vibrational analysis of polyethylene terephthalate, polymethylene-d/sub 4/T/T4/4/T 4, polyethylenes-d-sub 4-T/t/T-4-T 4/4 t/T 2, polymethylenes-terephthalates-d−sub 4−4−T 4−T/4−4
Abstract
The vibrational analysis of polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene-d/sub 4/ terephthalate, and polyethylene terephthalate-d/sub 4/ was carried out using a valence force field calculated from the infrared and Raman spectra of a series of low molecular weight aromatic esters. The Raman spectra for polyethylene-d/sub 4/ terephthalate and polyethylene terephthalate-d/sub 4/ are presented and band assignments for these compounds and polyethylene terephthalate are discussed. A Spectroscopic Analysis of Poly(lactic acid) Structure

TL;DR: In this paper, a vibrational analysis has been carried out to analyze the chain conformation of poly(lactic acid) in the crystalline state, in conjunction with a normal-coordinate analysis, the Raman spectrum has yielded data regarding conformational distributions.

Surface structure and properties of poly-(ethylene terephthalate) hydrolyzed by alkali and cutinase

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the surface properties of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) films by using FTIR spectroscopy (ATR mode) and showed that both enzyme and acid treatments induced structural and conformational rearrangements with a consequent increase in crystallinity in both amorphous and crystalline films.

The role of crystalline, mobile amorphous and rigid amorphous fractions in the performance of recycled poly (ethylene terephthalate) (PET)

TL;DR: In this article, the action of thermo-mechanical degradation induced by mechanical recycling of poly(ethylene terephthalate) was simulated by successive injection molding cycles.
