Low-frequency Raman spectra of lysozyme.

TL;DR: New techniques in laser Raman spectroscopy are used to obtain spectra of aqueous solutions of lysozylme for frequency shifts as small as 5 cm−1, and a low‐frequency band observed in crystalline lysozyme is not found in the solution, indicating that this band cannot be attributed to an internal molecular vibration.

Experimental study of second harmonic generation by dipolar configurations in pure and Li-doped KTaO3 and its variation under electric field

TL;DR: In this paper, the second harmonic generation (SHG) intensity of the ferroelectric crystal KTaO 3 was measured and the spatial distribution and the total integrated SHG intensity S zzz (calibrated with respect to LiNbO 3 ) was determined as a function of temperature, with or without applied electric field.
