Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and characterization of chromium (III), iron (II), copper (II) complexes of 4-amino-1-(p-sulphophenyl)-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone based acid dyes and their applications on leather
Ghulam Hussain,Makshoof Ather,Misbah Ul Ain Khan,Aamer Saeed,Rashid Saleem,Ghulam Shabir,Pervaiz Ali Channar +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new series of 4-amino-1-phenyl-5-pyrazolone based azo acid dyes (3a-g) has been synthesized from p- Sulphophenyl methyl pyrazolones (1).
Journal ArticleDOI
Sulfonamide-Linked Ciprofloxacin, Sulfadiazine and Amantadine Derivatives as a Novel Class of Inhibitors of Jack Bean Urease; Synthesis, Kinetic Mechanism and Molecular Docking.
Pervaiz Ali Channar,Aamer Saeed,Fernando Albericio,Fayaz Ali Larik,Qamar Abbas,Mubashir Hassan,Hussain Raza,Sung-Yum Seo +7 more
TL;DR: Ciprofloxacin-, sulfadiazine- and amantadine-based sulfonamides were synthesized as potent inhibitors of jack bean urease and free radical scavengers and showed excellent radical scavenging potency in comparison to the reference drug vitamin C.
Journal ArticleDOI
Facile and expedient access to bis-coumarin–iminothiazole hybrids by molecular hybridization approach: synthesis, molecular modelling and assessment of alkaline phosphatase inhibition, anticancer and antileishmanial potential
TL;DR: A new series of novel bis-coumarin–iminothiazole hybrids was designed, synthesized and tested for their biological action against alkaline phosphatase, leishmaniasis and cancerous cells and inferred that compounds 5j–m may serve as potential surrogates for the development of potent inhibitors of ALP.
Journal ArticleDOI
Biocompatible waterborne polyurethane-urea elastomer as intelligent anticancer drug release matrix: A sustained drug release study
Ali Bahadur,Aamer Saeed,Shahid Iqbal,Muhammad Shoaib,Muhammad Saif Ur Rahman,Muhammad Imran Bashir,Muhammad Zubair Asghar,Muhammad Asif Ali,Tahir Mahmood +8 more
TL;DR: The synthesized WPUU films exhibited high thermal stability, hardness, tensile strength and hydrophobicity, and significantly inhibitory effect against Sw–620 cancer lines was observed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hydroxyl substituted benzoic acid/cinnamic acid derivatives: Tyrosinase inhibitory kinetics, anti-melanogenic activity and molecular docking studies.
Yasir Nazir,Aamer Saeed,Muhammad Rafiq,Samina Afzal,Anser Ali,Muhammad Latif,Johannes Zuegg,Waleed M. Hussein,Christian Fercher,Ross Barnard,Mark E. Cooper,Mark A. T. Blaskovich,Zaman Ashraf,Zyta M. Ziora +13 more
TL;DR: The exposition of the details of the interactions between 6c and the catalytic pocket of tyrosinase provides a basis for rational design of additional potent inhibitors of tyosinase, built on the cinnamic acid scaffold.
