Agostic Pd ⋯ H+⋯ NHR2 and apical Pd ⋯ NHR2 interactions: the synthesis and structures of [PdIICl2(H[9]aneN3)]+, the PdII–PdII dimer [(H[9]aneN3)Cl2Pd–PdCl2(H[9]aneN3)]2+, and [Pd(Me3[9]aneN3)(NCMe)2]2+

TL;DR: Long-range agnostic Pd ⋯ H+⋯ NHR2 interactions are observed in the crystal structure of the protonated form of cis-[PdIICl2([9]aneN3)], while a direct apical Pd⋽ NHR 2 interaction is observed in a purple complex [Pd(Me3[9]ANEN3)(NCMe)2](PF6)2].
Journal ArticleDOI

exo-Binding of Na+ between two fusedcalix[4]arenes and endo binding of Na+ within thecalix[4]arene cones in the disodium salt of 1,3-dimethyl etherp-tert-butylcalix[4]arene

TL;DR: The reaction of 1,3-dimethyl ether with 1,tert-butylcalix (4) with sodium======¯¯¯¯hydride in tetrahydrofuran affords the dimeric metallocalixarene species, which possesses a novel structure in which ions are coordinated in two very different environments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Platinum metal complexes of mixed thia/oxa ionophores. The synthesis and single-crystal X-ray structures of [Pd([15]aneS2O3)2][PF6]2 and [RuCl(PPh3)([15]aneS2O3)2]PF6·H2O ([15]aneS2O3= 1,4,7-trioxa-10,13-dithiacyclopentadecane)

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis and characterisation of a series of mixed thia/oxa donor macrocyclic complexes was described, including [MCl2(M = Pd or Pt) with one molar equivalent of [15]aneS2O3] and [RuCl(PPh3)3] with two molar equivalents of this article.
Journal ArticleDOI

S-Cylindrophane: von pinzettenähnlich strukturierten Metallkomplexen zu Sandwichkomplexen

TL;DR: In this paper, ein statistischen Studie der η6-Koordination in Festkorpern konnen Aren-Metall-Wechselwirkungen with Abstanden von 2.5 bis 3.5 A tatsachlich als Bindungen angesehen werden.
