TL;DR: It is demonstrated that S63845 potently kills MCL1-dependent cancer cells, including multiple myeloma, leukaemia and lymphoma cells, by activating the BAX/BAK-dependent mitochondrial apoptotic pathway.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sonogashira Coupling of Aryl Halides Catalyzed by Palladium on Charcoal
TL;DR: With the proper choice of solvent, palladium on charcoal acts as an efficient catalyst in the Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction of aryl bromides.
Journal ArticleDOI
Aromatic Character of the Benzene Ring Present in Various Topological Environments in Benzenoid Hydrocarbons. Nonequivalence of Indices of Aromaticity
TL;DR: This study has undertaken an investigation of the aromatic character of the benzene ring embedded in various topological environments in polycyclic benzenoid hydrocarbons and used only indices derived from the bond lengths of molecules obtained by X-ray, neutron, or electron diffraction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tandem Sonogashira Coupling: An Efficient Tool for the Synthesis of Diarylalkynes
TL;DR: The tandem Sonogashira coupling reaction of aryl halides provides an efficient method for the synthesis of diarylalkynes in the presence of PdCl2(PPh3)2 and CuI.
Journal ArticleDOI
First cross-coupling reactions on tetrazines.
Zoltán Novák,András Kotschy +1 more
TL;DR: These results constitute the first cross-coupling reactions on tetrazine reactions under Sonogashira or Negishi coupling conditions.
