An extremely metal poor star complex in the reionization era: Approaching Population III stars with JWST
Eros Vanzella,F. Loiacono,P. Bergamini,U. Meštrić,Marco Castellano,Piero Rosati,Massimo Meneghetti,Claudio Grillo,Francesco Calura,M. Mignoli,Metka Bradač,Angela Adamo,Mark Dickinson,Max Gronke,Anita Zanella,Francesca Annibali,Chris J. Willott,Matteo Messa,E. Sani,Ana Acebron,A Bolamperti,Andrea Comastri,Roberto Gilli,Karina Caputi,Massimo Ricotti,Carlotta Gruppioni,Swara Ravindranath,Amata Mercurio,Victoria Strait,Nicholas Martis,Raffaele Pascale,G. B. Caminha,M. Annunziatella +32 more
TL;DR: In this article , a lensed Population III candidate stellar complex (dubbed Lensed and pristine 1, LAP1), with a lensing-corrected stellar mass <10^4 Msun, absolute luminosity M_UV>-11.6, confirmed at redshift 6.639 +/- 0.004.
Journal ArticleDOI
What can BeppoSAX tell us about X-ray spectra of BL Lacs?
Anna Wolter,Andrea Comastri,Gabriele Ghisellini,Paolo Giommi,Matteo Guainazzi,Tommaso Maccacaro,Laura Maraschi,Paolo Padovani,C. M. Raiteri,Gianpiero Tagliaferri,C. Megan Urry,M. Villata +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, preliminary results from the first year of BeppoSAX observations for a sample of soft X-ray selected BL Lacs are presented, showing that variability with respect to previous observations is very common, spectra are generally well fitted by a single power law.
ON THE SOFT X-RAY SPECTRA OF c-LOUD BLAZARS
TL;DR: In this paper, a signi-cant anticorrelation between X-ray and c-ray spectral shapes of radio quasars and BL Lacertae objects has been discovered.

The blazar PKS 0528+134: new results from BeppoSAX observations
G. Ghisellini,Luigi Costamante,G. Tagliaferri,L. Maraschi,Annalisa Celotti,Giovanni Fossati,Elena Pian,Andrea Comastri,G. de Francesco,L. Lanteri,C. M. Raiteri,G. Sobrito M. Villata,Ian S. Glass,Paola Grandi,Paolo Padovani,C. Perola,Aldo Treves +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a power law was used to fit the spectrum of the gamma-ray bright blazar PKS 0528+134 with an energy index alpha_X=0.49+-0.07 between 0.1 and 10 keV.
Journal ArticleDOI
NuSTAR reveals that the heavily obscured nucleus of NGC 2785 was the contaminant of IRAS 09104+4109 in the BeppoSAX/PDS hard X-rays
Cristian Vignali,P. Severgnini,Enrico Piconcelli,Giorgio Lanzuisi,Roberto Gilli,M. Mignoli,Andrea Comastri,Lucía Ballo,Kazushi Iwasawa,V. La Parola +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the MYTorus model to analyze the X-ray properties of NGC2785, a star-forming galaxy, and found that it hosts a heavily obscured (NH~3*10^{24} cm^{-2}) nucleus.
