Journal ArticleDOI
Structure and magnetic properties of (meso-tetraphenylporphinato)manganese(III) bis(dithiolato)nickelates.
Louise N. Dawe,Jesse Miglioi,Laura Turnbow,Michelle L. Taliaferro,William W. Shum,Joshua D. Bagnato,Lev N. Zakharov,Arnold L. Rheingold,Atta M. Arif,Marc Fourmigué,Joel S. Miller +10 more
TL;DR: The crystal structures of [MnTPP]{Ni[S2C2H(CN)]2} and [NnTPP = (meso-tetraphenylporphinato)manganese(III)] and [MmTPP} have been determined, and the observed negative J(intra)/kB values are indicative of antiferromagnetic coupling.
Journal ArticleDOI
Halide promoted formation and carbonylation of .mu.3-nitrene ligands on Ru3 clusters
TL;DR: In this paper, it is suggested that the halides facilitate the reaction by labilizing the Ru-N bond to form a dibridging nitrene that then undergoes nucleophilic attack on a coordinated carbonyl.
Journal ArticleDOI
Incorporation of Pendant Bases into Rh(diphosphine)2 Complexes: Synthesis, Thermodynamic Studies, And Catalytic CO2 Hydrogenation Activity of [Rh(P2N2)2](+) Complexes.
Alyssia M. Lilio,Mark H. Reineke,Curtis E. Moore,Arnold L. Rheingold,Michael K. Takase,Clifford P. Kubiak +5 more
TL;DR: It was determined that the added steric bulk of the amine groups on the P2N2 ligands hinders catalysis and that [Rh(depe)2](+) was the most active catalyst for hydrogenation of CO2 to formate.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, molecular and electronic structure, and properties of mononuclear trimethylphosphine-containing cyclopentadienyl derivatives of molybdenum(III) and molybdenum(IV). Direct evidence of molybdenum(III)-phosphorus .pi. back-bonding
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel ansa-Metallocenes with a Single Boron Atom in the Bridge: Syntheses, Reactivities, and X-ray Structures of {Ph(L)B(η5-C5H4)2}ZrCl2 (L = SMe2, PMe3)
TL;DR: In this article, the boron-bridged ansa-metallocene complexes were synthesized and X-ray crystal structures of the borsbridged acyclic ansa metallocene complex were reported.
