The unusual structure of the novel [Mo2Cp2Cl5]– ion (Cp = C5H5)

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a novel [Mo2Cp2Cl5] ion (Cp = C5H5), obtained as the salt of the bis(triphenylphosphine)iminium (PPN) cation on reacting MoCpCl2 with PPN+Cl2 in CH2Cl2, which provided a bridge between two diverse structures of M2(η5-C5H4Pri)2Cl4(M = Mo: quad ruply-bridged, Mo-Mo single bond;
Journal ArticleDOI

Bis(cyclooctatetraenyl)thulium lithium tris(tetrahydrofuran)

TL;DR: In this paper, the molecular structure of the first bis-COT sandwich compound of the element thulium, of composition (η8-cot)2Tm]−[Li(thf)3]+, is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Facile formation of molybdenum(VI) monooxo aryloxides MoO(OAr)4-nCln from molybdenum dioxo dichloride.

TL;DR: Molybdenum monooxo compoundsMoO(OAr)4-nCln (n=0-2, Ar=2, 6-Me2C6H3 or 2,6-i-Pr2C 6H3) have been synthesized starting from the dioxo precursor MoO2Cl2 and are characterized spectroscopically and by X-ray diffraction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Copper(II) complexes derived from bidentate N,O-ligands for catalytic aerobic oxidation

TL;DR: In this paper, two Cu II complexes based on bidentate N, O -ligands have been synthesized and structurally characterized, and X-ray structural analysis revealed that in complex 1 the Cu II center adopts an unusual near tetrahedral coordination geometry, while in complex 2 it is traditionally square planar, albeit both of them have a N 2 O 2 coordination environment and two compounds are mononuclear bis-ligand neutral complexes.
