Binuclear copper(I) macrocycles synthesized via the weak-link approach

TL;DR: The weak-link approach has been employed to synthesize a series of bimetallic Cu(I) macrocycles in high yield, providing a pathway to complexes that differ from analogous d8 square planar macrocycles generated via this approach in their increased air stability, small molecule reactivity, and ability to form multiple structural isomers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, reactivity, and resolution of a C2-symmetric, P-stereogenic benzodiphosphetane, a building block for chiral bis(phosphines).

TL;DR: The synthesis, reactivity, and resolution of the benzodiphosphetane trans-1,2-(P(t-Bu))(2)C(6)H(4) are reported and C(2)-symmetric P-stereogenic ligand BenzP* and novel analogues are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dicarboxylate diamide dimercaptide (N2S2) technetium-99m complexes: synthesis and biological evaluation as potential renal radiopharmaceuticals

TL;DR: While the synthetic schemes reported here supply facile routes to novel N2S2 ligands, biodistribution studies of the 99mTc complexes performed on rats revealed slow renal excretion rates, accompanied by slow blood clearance and high uptake in muscle tissue, which are poor candidates as renal radiopharmaceuticals.
Journal ArticleDOI

6,12-Diphenyldibenzo[b,f][1,5]diazocine as an Electron-Capture Agent: Efficient Mechanistic Probe for SET Processes and Reagent for the Oxidative Dimerization of Benzylic Organometallics†

TL;DR: In this paper, a tub-shaped, eight-membered central ring of 6,12-diphenyldibenzo[b,f][1,5]diazocine has been treated with sodium or lithium metal at 25 °C in THF, in an attempt to form the planar, Huckel-aromatic dianion by the addition of two electrons to the central dizocine.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and molecular structure of the eight-coordinate complex bis(4-amino-N,N'-disalicylidene-1,2-phenylenediaminato)zirconium(IV), a new reagent for preparing coordination polymers

TL;DR: In this paper, le systeme triclinique avec le groupe d'espace P1 is described as a cristallise dans le tricline.
