TL;DR: In this article, the influence of poly(4-vinylpyridine-hexadecyl bromide) P4VP-Alkyl 50 % newly synthesized on the corrosion of mild steel in molar hydrochloric acid has been investigated by weight-loss measurements combined with linear potential scan voltammetry (I-E) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).

TL;DR: In this paper, 1-hexyl-3-(4-phenoxybutyl)-1H-imidazol-3-ium bromide (MS35) and 3-ethoxy-4-oxobutyl-1-hexy l-1H -imidaxol- 3-ium bromides (MS36) were synthesised and their inhibitive action against the corrosion of C- steel in 1.0 M HCl solution were investigated at 30 8 K using gravimetric measurements.
