SwissFEL: The Swiss X-ray Free Electron Laser

Christopher J. Milne, +114 more
- 14 Jul 2017 -
TL;DR: The SwissFEL X-ray Free Electron Laser (XFEL) facility as discussed by the authors started construction at the Paul Scherrer Institute (Villigen, Switzerland) in 2013 and will be ready to accept its first users in 2018 on the Aramis hard Xray branch.
Journal ArticleDOI

A compact and cost-effective hard X-ray free-electron laser driven by a high-brightness and low-energy electron beam

Eduard Prat, +113 more
- 09 Nov 2020 -
TL;DR: In this article, the first lasing results of SwissFEL, a hard X-ray free-electron laser (FEL) that recently came into operation at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland, were presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Universality in Quantum Hall Systems: Coset Construction of Incompressible States

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors derived consistency conditions and stability criteria for those CCFTs that can be expected to describe a compressible Quantum Hall fluids (QHF's) in the scaling limit by three-dimensional topological field theories.
Journal ArticleDOI

The J-UNIO protocol for automated protein structure determination by NMR in solution.

TL;DR: Applications with proteins from the JCSG target list with sizes up to 150 residues showed that the procedure is highly robust and efficient, and in all instances the correct polypeptide fold was obtained in the first round of automated data analysis and structure calculation.
