Journal ArticleDOI
Electron-beam introduction of heteroatomic Pt–Si structures in graphene
Ondrej Dyck,Cheng Zhang,Philip D. Rack,Philip D. Rack,Jason D. Fowlkes,Jason D. Fowlkes,Bobby G. Sumpter,Andrew R. Lupini,Sergei V. Kalinin,Stephen Jesse +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the e-beam manipulation of single dopant atoms in an aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscope is emerging as a method for directed atomic motion and atom-by-atom assembly.
Journal ArticleDOI
Morphologies of ABC triblock terpolymer melts containing poly(cyclohexadiene): effects of conformational asymmetry.
Rajeev Kumar,Scott W. Sides,Monojoy Goswami,Bobby G. Sumpter,Kunlun Hong,Xiaodong Wu,Thomas P. Russell,Samuel P. Gido,Konstantinos Misichronis,Sofia Rangou,Apostolos Avgeropoulos,Thodoris Tsoukatos,Nikolaos Hadjichristidis,Frederick L. Beyer,Jimmy W. Mays +14 more
TL;DR: The work reveals that the triblock terpolymer melts containing a high percentage of 1,2-microstructures in the PCHD block are disordered at 110 °C for all the samples, independent of sequence and volume fraction of the blocks.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Fragment Molecular Orbital Method Based on Long-Range Corrected Density-Functional Tight-Binding.
Van Quan Vuong,Yoshio Nishimoto,Dmitri G. Fedorov,Bobby G. Sumpter,Thomas A. Niehaus,Stephan Irle,Stephan Irle +6 more
TL;DR: An extension of FMO-DFTB is reported where a long-range corrected (LC) functional is included designed to mitigate the DFTB SIE, resulting in a robust method which succeeds in simulating zwitterionic systems.
Journal ArticleDOI
Triphasic 2D Materials by Vertically Stacking Laterally Heterostructured 2H‐/1T′‐MoS2 on Graphene for Enhanced Photoresponse
Weili Cui,Shanshan Xu,Bo Yan,Zhihua Guo,Qun Xu,Bobby G. Sumpter,Jingsong Huang,Shiwei Yin,Huijun Zhao,Huijun Zhao,Yun Wang +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a triphasic 2D material by vertically stacking lateral 2H-/1T′-molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) heterostructures on graphene with the assistance of supercritical carbon dioxide is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Macromolecular Architecture on the Morphology of Polystyrene–Polyisoprene Block Copolymers
Caleb W. Dyer,Paraskevi Driva,Scott W. Sides,Bobby G. Sumpter,Jimmy W. Mays,Jimmy W. Mays,Jihua Chen,Rajeev Kumar,Monojoy Goswami,Mark Dadmun,Mark Dadmun +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the impact of block connectivity on the morphologies of four block copolymers of varying architecture containing polystyrene (PS) and polyisoprene (PI) has been studied.
